| Surrey Physiotherapy treats acute and chronic
pains & disorders of all kinds including; ergonomic
and work related conditions, sports
injuries, urinary
incontinence, hypermobility,
back
and neck pains, RSI, joint and muscle problems, sciatica,
postural aches, knee disorders, headaches, shoulder injuries,
hypermobility and whiplash injuries without the use of
medication. We see adults and children and adolescents, providing a full assessment and an individually designed treatment programme. We use treatments such as mobilisation and manipulation, exercise prescription & posture correction, soft tissue massage and trigger point acupuncture. We also use electrical treatments such as ultrasound, interferential therapy, combined therapy, laser and traction. We help our patients to understand their problem and teach them what they can do to help relieve their symptoms themselves. Being able to see a physiotherapist quickly, at an appropriate time is important for most patients and we can offer a fast appointment with an experienced physiotherapist at a time that suits them. We can also provide home visits for those who are currently incapacitated and unable to travel to the clinic and on-site physiotherapy and ergonomic clinics for corporate clients. Surrey Physiotherapy has been established since 1991 and was originally based in Carshalton, Surrey UK. We have grown steadily and in 1999 we moved to refurbished premises in Coulsdon. All the physiotherapists working at the clinic are Chartered Physiotherapists and registered with the Health professions Council. They have a wealth of experience in both the National health Service and private practice and extensive expertise in the management of muscle and joint problems.
